Pottstown High School Student Government, along with their sponsor Mr. Mark Agnew, is asking the community to partner with them to save lives by taking part in the school district blood drive on Friday, May 4, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Pottstown High School. Every two seconds someone in the U.S.A. needs blood. This year, the blood donation drives conducted by Pottstown High School have helped to save over 250 lives. Mr. Agnew observed, “Our local community has benefitted from donors. It is rewarding to know that a small act of kindness has helped to save the life of someone’s loved one.”
Anyone interested in participating can contact Mr. Agnew at magnew@pottstownsd.org to schedule an appointment. Appointments start at 7:30 a.m. and go through until 1:30 p.m. Please allow approximately 45 minutes to an hour to complete your donation. Snacks and refreshments will be provided by Pottstown High School Student Government.
