Body Found Hanging In Hereford
Body does not seem to be related to Marella case, according to police.
Around 6 p.m. Thursday evening, a body was found hanging near the Poor Richard's Historic Hereford Hotel, according to a report in the Pottstown Mercury. The white male has not been identified, but police say it is not connected to the Natalie Marella case.
“It does not appear they would be connected,” Trooper David Beohm, the public information officer at the Reading barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police, said to the Mercury. “I do not know the circumstances (of the New Hanover incident). I know they just recently named the person, but this (incident in Hereford) is definitely a suicide.”
Beohm said the body had been in the woods for weeks.
“He was found hanging back there (in the woods behind the hotel), and he had been back there for quite some time, probably three weeks,” Beohm said.
The identification of the man will not be released until the autopsy report is provided. For the full story, visit The Pottstown Mercury's article here.
