Brick is the Pick

Pottstown eatery vies for “Best of Philly” recognition.

For the third straight year, The Brick House is nominated in the “Best New American” category in the annual “Philly HOT LIST” poll.

The Brick House, located at 152 E. High St., won the “Best New American” category in 2010 and 2011, just a few of the numerous awards the establishment has received. Their first award was a 2008 “Best of Philly” honor for “Best Kid-Friendly Restaurant.” The Brick House also received the Pottstown Mercury’s 2009 Reader’s Choice honors for “Best Place to Meet” and “Best Bar/Tavern.”

“We’re a family-oriented restaurant with a casual atmosphere,” said David Walsh, LLC owner and managing member of The Brick House. “We only have two rules for our customers: Dress appropriately, and have a great time.”

Walsh highlighted The Brick House’s signature burger, crab cakes and rib eye as particularly popular menu items. He gave credit for the restaurant’s success to the loyalty and hard work of the staff.

“The Brick House has a series of key staff members who are responsible for our prior and continued success,” he said. “We pride ourselves on working with genuine staff members. Our staff constantly strives to do the best job they possibly can—knowing that our company will continue to grow and sustain. The staff is always willing to help and always hopes to make everyone's visit a great one.”

The Brick House is open seven days a week from 11a.m. to 2a.m. To vote for The Brick House in the “Philly HOT LIST” competition, visit http://phillyhotlist.cityvoter.com/the-brick-house/biz/578623
