Computer Classes And More At The Library

Pottstown Regional Public Library offers a variety of activities and events.

 

The following will be held at Pottstown Regional Public Library

• Computer Basics For Adults will be at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 28 classes. The classes are open to the public. Recent topics include: basic computer terms, e-mail, MS Word/Open Office, MS Excel/Open Office.Calc and preparing your resume. At the end of each class, participants typically agree on the next week’s topic.

• Sleepytime stories and a simple craft session will be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 4. All Ages are welcome to attend.

• Stories about horses, both fiction and non fiction, will be read at 4 p.m. Jan 5. A horse-related craft will be included. All ages are welcome, children under 7 should have a parent or guardian with them. Preregistration required.

• Game time -- including TVs, a Wii, xBox 360, Playstation 3 and tons of games -- will be held at 3 p.m. Jan. 6. Participants are encouraged to bring their own controller. The event is open to kids ages 12 to 17.  

• LEGO Construction Project will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 7. The event is open to ages 11 to 16. Parents are welcome to attend. LEGOs will be provided.
