County To Spray For Mosquitoes Next Week

Three areas in Limerick and Pottstown will be treated

 

According to a press release from the Montgomery County Health Department, three areas of Limerick Township and Pottstown Borough will be sprayed for mosquitos. 

West Nile virus, an illness transmitted by mosquito bites, has been discovered in our area by DEP testing.  

The department will be spraying on Monday, July 30, at Riverfront Park from about 8:30pm to 9:30pm, at the Pottstown Waste Water Treatment Plant from about 9:30pm to 10:15pm, and at the Limerick Waste Water Treatment Plant from about 10:30pm to 11:15pm.
