Dense Fog Expected for Morning Rush Wednesday

Visibility on roadways could be less than one-quarter of a mile.

The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory through 10 a.m. Wednesday for Montgomery County and much of the greater Philadelphia region.

Visibility could "frequently" be reduced to one-quarter mile or less throughout the Wednesday morning commute, the agency said in a bulletin.

Drivers are advised to reduce speed, use headlights, and leave additional stopping distance between themselves and any vehicles that may be in front of them.
