Pottstown Drug Sweep Nabs 22
So "borough residents can enjoy their community," county district attorney Risa Ferman said.
The Montgomery County District Attorney said 22 people were arrested during a drug sweep in the Pottstown area this week, but 21 more are still being sought.
D.A. Risa Vetri Ferman said the sweep was executed so "borough residents can enjoy their community without these drug dealers selling their poison on the streets."

So, that's 43 arrested + still sought. What % do you suppose that is of the drug dealers/users in the borough? No wonder I hear Potttown referred to as the drug town, though it's good to see law enforcement making an impact ... but you wonder how soon they will be out spreading the poison again.

It was prolly pot, the money that is spent on policing pot is unreal. Imagine the money that would b saved if pot was legalized. Add up the money waisted on keeping a plant that grows NATURALLY and probably God himself smoked, when the first settlers arrived here marijuana was everywhere and the Indians used for EVERYTHING. There has never been a documented death from smoking marijuana but yet Millions of people die every year from alcohol, ask any college psycology teacher and they will tell u alcohol has a far greater effect on your brain than marijuana but yet alcohol is completely legal? Imagine how much money would b saved if we didn't incarcerate people for marijuana, IM not positive but i think it costs like 30grand a year per person to put them behind bars, all for a fucking plant, imagine the lives that have been ruined, the families that have been torn apart, fuck you government the war on drugs has failed.
