Pottstown Man Wins Potts Marathon
Pottstown residents Justin Krebs and Mike Carriglitto of Pottstown ran the race in York on Sunday.
The plan was set in place weeks ago.
All Justin Krebs had to do was follow it.
That's a lot easier said than done, especially when the plan is to run a 26.2-mile course like the one in Sunday's Bob Potts Marathon.
Krebs, who finished second in last year's race, went a little too fast too soon for the plan.
Krebs and his running cohort, Mike Carriglitto of Pottstown, wanted to average a 6-minute-per-mile pace for the race, which meant they would hit the halfway point in 1 hour and 20 minutes.
