Pottstown Schools Closed for Tuesday, Oct. 30

No schools or administrative offices will be open tomorrow.

Schools are closed in the Pottstown School District for tomorrow due to Hurricane Sandy.

"Due to weather conditions, all Pottstown Schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, October 30, 2012," said Jeff Sparagana, acting superintendent of Pottstown School District, in an email. "In addition all co-curricular and athletic events have been cancelled, including practices, for tomorrow."

There is still no word on Wednesday's classes. A decision will be made later tomorrow.

"We urge everyone to follow the recommendations from local and governmental officials concerning emergency procedures," said Sparagana.
