The Methacton Warriors topped the Pottstown Trojans today as the two boys' basketball teams took to the floor at Methacton High School this afternoon. In a match-up that started with a 1:30 p.m. tipoff, the game was truly back-and-forth throughtout four quarters of play.
After many trips to the foul line, the Warrirors came out victorious, out-scoring their opponent by just 5 points.
The Methacton Warriors advance to 10-1 in their season. Pottstown is now at 2-5 for the season, according to Max Prep's website.
The day's afternoon game was also an opportunity for all Audubon Recreational League basketball players to attend for free. All ARA students were admitted for free with a paying parent.
