After a soaking of rain around the region today, an improving weekend of weather is ahead for the Shore and Beach towns. Saturday isn't going to start incredibly nice as there will be clouds and perhaps a lingering round of showers early in the day. However, weather will improve as the day progresses and as the mid level disturbance that brought today's soaking pulls away. Expect gradual clearing and some sunshine later in the day at the Shore and in Delaware.
Sunday will feature a really nice day as sunshine, mixed with some clouds, rules the roost. Sunday may end up being the nicest day over the next week as another frontal boundary approaches on Monday and lingers over the area for a fair chunk of the week.
Highs on Saturday will approach or reach 80, dependent on how much sunshine we get in the afternoon. Sunday's highs range from the lower 80s at the Jersey Shore to the mid 80s in Delaware. Lows will be in the 60s Saturday night.
