Visitors to historic Pottsgrove Manor on Saturday\, June 9th betwe en 11:00am and 3:00pm can see how this was done.\n \;\nThe interacti ve program\, &ldquo\;Cleaning &\; Mending\, Repairing\, Extending: Th e Non-Disposable 18th- Century Textile\,&rdquo\; will feature a variety of living history activities and demonstrations throughout the day. Thes e will include colonial laundry\, dyeing\, sewing\, mending\, ironing\, and more.\n \;\nA donation of $2 per person is suggested for this pr ogram. This program is being held in conjunction with Pottsgrove Manor&r squo\;s current exhibit\, &ldquo\;Matters Personal\, Details Private: Cl eanliness\, Hygiene\, and Personal Pursuits in the Colonial Home.&rdquo\ ; Guided tours of the exhibit will be offered on the hour during the pro gram.\n \;\nThe exhibit can also be viewed during a guided tour of P ottsgrove Manor during regular museum hours: Tuesday to Saturday\, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday\, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tours are given o n the hour. The last tour of the day begins at 3:00 p.m. The site is clo sed Mondays and major holidays.
