Strides for Scholarships 5K Race / Walk

The Montgomery County Community College Alumni Association invites you to register for the annual Strides for Scholarships 5K Race and Fitness Walk on Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell. Check-in starts at 7:30 a.m., and the race/walk begins at 8:30 a.m. Proceeds benefit the College’s Alumni Association Scholarship Fund for students.

Entry fees are $25 for general registrants, $15 for MCCC students and $5 for children, 12 years and younger, if registered before Sept. 17. Entry fees increase by $5 after that date. The first 200 people registered will receive free t-shirts.  To register, visit http://www.mc3.edu/5k-race.

Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place overall male and female winners. Awards will also be presented to the top runners in several categories, include male/female age groups, students and alumni. The course consists of flat pathways around MCCC’s beautiful Central Campus.

Following the event, all participants are invited to stay and enjoy the College’s annual Community Day celebration, which includes family-friendly activities, food, music and performances.
