DESCRIPTION:The Montgomery County 4-H Fair is held every year the 2nd wee
 k in August on Thursday\, Friday and Saturday. The Fair dates for 2012 a
 re August 9\, 6:30PM to 9:00PM\, August 10\, 9:00AM to 9:00PM\, and Augu
 st 11\, 9:00AM to 4:00PM.\nThe 4-H Fair is the culmination of the 4-H pr
 oject year for Montgomery County 4-H members. This is their opportunity 
 to show their families\, friends and the public their achievements throu
 ghout the year. Our livestock and animal science 4-H members have their 
 animals on display and proudly show them and answer questions. Other 4-H
  clubs also have their projects on display and are also on hand to promo
 te 4-H and their clubs. A giant Fabric Sale is ongoing throughout the fa
 ir and is coordinated by the Creamery Crafters 4-H club.\nIn addition to
  the 4-H projects\, there are demonstrations\, contests\, games\, music\
 , an Open Baking Contest an Open Pet Show and of course - all sorts of d
 elicious food - including the World's Largest Sausage Patty! Past demons
 trations have included the Graterford Mounted Patrol\, Canine Agility\, 
 Parade of Horse Breeds\, and the 4-H Equine Drill Team to name a few. Th
 e Daisy Jug Band\, a SE PA favorite\, performs on Friday evening.\nMontg
 omery County residents are also encouraged to enter their projects into 
 the Open Class categories. This is a great opportunity to show off your 
 talents! There are classes for all types of gardening\, sewing\, cooking
 \, crafts\, art\, photography and more! The Open Classes are for all age
