Calling All Blues Fans

Enjoy the 4th Annual Phoenixville Blues Festival? Have ideas to make next year’s festival even better? Wish blues music was more available in our area? Like to get to know a group of fellow blues music lovers? Looking for other blues lovers to jam with? Have ideas about other blues music activities you wish were available?  Join Phoenixville’s Steel City Blues Society (SCBS), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit and affiliate of the International Blues Federation. Now that we have run 4 successful blues festivals we are ready to undertake additional activities and are looking to grow our Society with new activities like:

>  Meet-up groups to play some blues in and around Phoenixville.

>  Host a blues band a few times a year

> Run a competition to sponsor a band at the International Blues Challenge

>  Review opportunities for Blues in School programs

>  Used instrument drive

>  And of course make the Festival better every year

All this while having fun by investing a modest amount of time. 

Your $25 annual membership fee will be reduced to $10 if you join by the end of this year and will allow membership until 2015! This will enable you to help shape the growth of the SCBS and affords discounts on blues stuff and IBC rooms.
