Celebrate Pottstown National Night Out Tomorrow, Aug. 6

The annual Pottstown National Night Out celebration will take place at the Chestnut Street Park tomorrow, Aug. 6, starting at 6:30p.m., where locals can bond in their stance against crime, and celebrate community.

National Night Out, held across the country, is an annual, community-based event where locals can recognize how they can work together with the police, fire departments, and emergency services to make communities safer.

This year’s Pottstown festivities were put together by Genesis Housing Corporation, MOSAIC Community Land Trust, National Penn, and Citizens for Pottstown’s Revitalization.  Hot dogs and refreshments will be provided.
