Beginning March 1, Jake's Wayback Burgers – located in the Giant shopping center in Pottstown – will begin offering the exclusive Triple Triple burger.
The Triple Triple burger is a nine patty burger with nine slices of cheese and is topped with lettuce and tomato. Gillian Maffeo, Director of Marketing for Jake's Wayback Burgers, said the burger was tested at a store in Springfield, Mass., without advertising the burger, people started to come in and ask for it.
The Triple Triple burger was the Pottstown location's choice for the burger eating in 2012, with approximately 10 eaters.
Maffeo added that nationally, the fastest time to eat the Triple Triple burger during the burger eating contest in 2012 was 1 minute, 51 seconds.

"[It's] a fun burger," said Lynda Hendershot, franchise owner of the Pottstown Jake's.
In addition to the Triple Triple burger, the menu at Jake's Wayback Burgers will have a fresh facelift beginning March 1. Hendershot, said the chicken and turkey burgers will be entirely different, and they will be adding Irish Nachos, made with their house made chips to the menu. She continued that the Philly Burger and the Cheesy Burger will become permanent menu items as well.
Chris Blount, manager for the Pottstown Jake's Wayback Burgers, said the burger joint is very family oriented and kid friendly.
"We want out client to feel like family," he said.
Hendershot added that they are very community oriented and do a lot of fundraising for local organizations and support the Pottsgrove Schools and Pottsgrove sports teams.
