Chestnut Knoll Relay for Life Fundraiser at Greshville Inn

Get ready to be served by Chestnut Knoll Residential Care and help a good cause! Chestnut Knoll will be taking over the Greshville Inn, located at 1013 Reading Ave., Boyertown, and serving you for the evening of Thursday, January 31 from 4–10 p.m. as a Relay for Life fundraiser.

Chestnut Knoll is hosting their fundraiser at the Greshville Inn, where they will receive 10% of the sales to be donated to the Boyertown Relay for Life Cancer Walk in June. Join the Chestnut Knoll staff and management team for the evening, where you can order dinner and drinks from Chestnut Knoll guest bartenders, Jennifer Diehl, nursing office manager, Shawn Barndt, executive director, and Sam Gaugler, bus driver.

“Our goal is to create a fun night out for a good cause, while raising awareness of the various cancers that negatively affect many families,” said Barndt.  “The Chestnut Knoll Relay team will be participating in the Boyertown Relay this June and our goal is to do our part to make a difference in our community, and we always like to have fun while doing it!”

In addition, various “levels” of cash donations will be tracked and posted at the event. As cash goals are met throughout the evening, staff members will be doing certain tasks they have committed to, such as Diehl and Barndt agreeing to dye their hair pink. Charlene Deery, owner of Bella June Hair Salon in Boyertown will donate her time and supplies in order to create the pink hairdo, in the event that goals are reached that night. Their appointment is set for 9 a.m. on February 1 at Bella June Hair Salon if all goes well.

Reservations are recommended for dinner and can be made by calling the Greshville Inn at 610-367-6994; however, guests may stop in at anytime for a drink and/or friendly cheer for a good cause! This is a family friendly event (for dining room only).
