5K RUN/WALK for S.A.A.M.

Victim Services Center of Montgomery County Inc. (VSC) is hosting it's 4th annual 5K to promote Sexual Assault Awareness Month on 4/19/15!


Victim Services Center of Montgomery County, Inc. (VSC) is a non-profit organization serving victims of crime in Montgomery County. We offer comprehensive services, including counseling, legal advocacy, community education and two 24-hour crisis hotlines. All of our services are free and confidential to the community.All proceeds from this event will benefit victims of sexual violence and child sexual abuse.

April is national Sexual Assault Awareness Month (S.A.A.M.) and Victim Services Center of Montgomery County, Inc. recognizes S.A.A.M. with a community event dedicated to increasing awareness of sexual violence. Come join us and show your support of the community and victims of sexual violence and child sexual abuse! “Run for S.A.A.M.” will take place on Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 9:00am-12:00pm at Norristown Farm Park in Norristown, Pennsylvania. “Run for S.A.A.M.” will be a fun event for the whole family, and pets, to enjoy! We will have food, music, community tables and activities for children and family members to visit after the run.

Your contribution to our Run for S.A.A.M. will help us to continue to fund free and confidential counseling and advocacy services to victims of sexual assault, child abuse, homicide and other violent crimes, as well as safety and risk reduction programs in schools, colleges, and institutions throughout the county.
