"A season of Jolly"

"A season of Jolly" was the theme for Pottstown High School JROTC cadets on Saturday, 23 November 2013. Students started the holiday season off by placing wreaths along high street and cleaning the streets of debris. The placing of wreaths on the colonial style light poles is a yearly ritual in Pottstown and signals to the residents and patrons that Christmas is a time of togetherness and support. This year, 40 cadets under the leadership of Col. Jake Porter and Sgt. Alexander Bolar Jr. participated in the event which began at 8 am and finished at 12 noon.
