Edgewood Combines Blue and Red To Help Victims of Hurricane Sandy


The students and staff at Pottstown's Edgewood Elementary School rallied together by collecting money for the Red Cross to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The students were encouraged to donate at least 50 cents and in return could wear blue jeans to school. Teachers also donated $3.00 a person to wear their favorite jeans. The students and satff learned a valuable lesson about caring for others in need and raised over $ 350.
