SUPPORT FAMILIES OF CRITICALLY ILL CHILDREN

  Kati and Vince Artis lost their daughter Alexa to cancer.  During the long weeks of treatment that required Alexa to stay in the hospital in Philadelphia, the family was able to experience some comfort by being close to their daughter courtesy of the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House.  Kati and Vince want to be able to give back to other families the opportunity to stay close to loved ones. 

         In memory of Alexa, they have developed a partnership to adopt a room at the Ronald McDonald House.  You can support their efforts by taking part in the “Designer Purse Bingo” event scheduled for Sunday, November 10th at the North End Fire Company.  Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and bingo starts at 1:00 p.m.  There will be door prizes and baked goods.  Featured purses will be from Coach, Kate Spade, DKNY, Vera Bradley, Michael Kors, SG Bags, Brighton, and more.
