Elmer B. Lorah, Army Veteran from Lansdale

Elmer Lorah, who has family in Pottstown, died suddenly on April 13.

 

Elmer B. Lorah formerly of Lansdale died suddenly Friday April 13, 2012 at Harston Hall in Flourtown.

Elmer was born in Lancaster, son of the late Elmer Dommel and Catherine Lorah. He is a U.S. Army veteran serving form 1963 to 1969 during the Vietnam War.

Elmer was an Operating Engineer for local 542 in Fort Washington for 35 years prior to his retirement in 1998.

Elmer was the Loving Husband of Helen R. (nee McCormick) Lorah and the devoted father of Danny Todd Lorah and his wife Wendy of Pottstown, Ronald Matthew Lorah and his wife Bertin of Atlanta, GA and Kimberly Ann Rehn and her husband Brian of Montoursville, PA. He is the loving grandfather of Louie and Nicholas Lorah and Asher, Joel and Seanna Rehn. He is also survived by his sisters Dawn (Roy) Glick, June Mentzer, Elaine (John) Wenger all of Lancaster. Elmer was predeceased in death by his first wife Ethel Rae Burke Lorah in 1995.

Relatives and friends are invited to call 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday and 11:00 AM to 12:00PM Thursday at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike Ambler. Funeral Service 12:00 Noon Interment Green Lawn Cemetery, North Wales
