Obituary: Edythe Bessie Yerger
Mrs. Yerger was a 1935 graduate of the former Warwick High School and also a 1938 graduate of the former Pottstown Hospital School of Nursing, retiring in 1964.
Edythe Bessie Yerger, age 95, wife of the late Robert L. Yerger, of Sellersville, PA, formerly of East Coventry, Chester County, passed away on December 14, 2012. Born in North Coventry Township, she was the daughter of the late Warren J. and Bessie Harris Houck.
Mrs. Yerger was a 1935 graduate of the former Warwick High School and also a 1938 graduate of the former Pottstown Hospital School of Nursing, retiring in 1964. She was a member of the Parker Ford Church of the Brethren and the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center Alumni Association.
She is survived by a son Robert, husband of Sharon Yerger of Pottstown, a daughter Diane, wife of James Clemmer of Telford, 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son John W. Yerger, a brother Dr. Warren J. Houck of Arcata, CA, and a great grandson Joshua Stone.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. David R. Willauer. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM Friday morning at the funeral home.
