James L. Keeley, age 48, husband of Irene (Smith) Keeley of East Coventry Township, Spring City, died on Monday morning in his home.
He was born in Pottstown to Ruth E. (Hamilton) Keeley and to James L. Keeley Sr., husband of Karen Keeley.
Jim attended Owen J. Roberts High School. After school, he went to work for Bachman of New Jersey and then he was employed at Marvel Builders for fifteen years. Most recently, he was a truck driver for Venezia trucking. Jim was involved with Relay for Life and a member of the Pikeville Sportsmen’s Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two daughters: Sharon Worsnup of East Coventry and Amy Keeley of East Coventry and a granddaughter, Jayde. He is also survived by sister: Lisa Parkyn of Florida.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday at 8:00pm at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets, Spring City, PA. The Rev. Paul Townsend will officiate. Burial will be private. His viewing will be held Friday evening in the funeral home from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
