Spat & Slipper Announces Charitable Distributions
Nonprofits in Pottstown Borough are invited to submit requests for future contributions.

While the Fall Spat & Slipper dance is long over, the work doesn’t end on the 2010 season until the proceeds are distributed to the selected nonprofit organizations.
It’s the privilege of the chairpersons to present the donations to the organizations that have been selected.

This past season was chaired by Mr. & Mrs. Terry Fetterman.
The selection process is a function of the committee and requests are welcomed from nonprofits in . All requests need to be received before the night of the dance.

Spat & Slipper is a long standing tradition in Pottstown. The organization can trace its roots to the 1940’s after returning veterans organized a social each Fall.
The black-tie affair, then and now, is held at the in Pottstown.
The committee is busy planning and organizing this year’s upcoming event to be held the evening of November 19, 2011.
This year’s chairperson is Ms. Peggy McCaslin, the theme is Black & White Ball and I’m sure it will prove to be an exciting night.
