Driver Flown Following Crash in East Vincent

The investigation into the accident is ongoing, and the driver's condition is currently unknown.

The driver of a Toyota pickup truck was flown to a Philadelphia hospital early Saturday morning, after he lost control of his vehicle and crash into a tree.

According to a report by the Pottstown Mercury, police and emergency workers were dispatched to the 200 black of Bertolet School Road around 3 a.m. on Saturday morning. Upon arrival, crews discovered that the driver had sustained injuries, prompting the medevac to a Philadelphia hospital.

The report states that East Vincent Police Chief Matt Williams described the victim as being awake and talking to police. The victim's current condition is unknown.
