New Hanover Body ID'd as Local Model

The cause of death of Natalie Marella, 26, of Ambler, is still undetermined pending toxicology testing.

The body that was discovered Wednesday along a cornfield in New Hanover has been identified as 26-year-old Natalie Marella, of Ambler, according to a press release from the Montgomery County District Attorney's office.

New Hanover Police initially responded to a report on Monday morning that a local farmer had discovered the body of a white woman at 2471 Little Road, near the intersection of Renninger Road.

An autopsy was conducted on Wednesday evening, but the cause and manner of death remain undertermined pending the results of toxicology testing.

According to Marella's Facebook page, she was most recently employed as a model at F.A.B. Modeling, and she graduated from Pennsylvania Institute of Technology in 2006 as a certified clinical medical assistant.

Prior to that, she attended several local high schools, including Wissahickon Senior High School (until 2000), Buxmont Academy and Central Bucks West, graduating in 2004.

Stay tuned for further updates.

I have a Facebook page, but I haven't been on it for almost a year, sometimes I go months without checking my email, and I have never posted on a site like this before. I felt compelled to comment here, and now, however, because I was so saddened for this beautiful girl and her family, and so appalled by the words of a few.  To those few who will not be named, I want you to stop and think of your child - or of the person you love the most, if you don't have a child. I want you to think of how you would feel if they died - and then how much worse - died under questionable circumstances. Then think about how terrible you would feel if people - people who knew NOTHING about you and NOTHING about your loved one started digging into your loved one's past, making unspoken implications and assumptions and doing so under the guise of "free speech" and "for the community". You are a liar if you say it wouldn't bother you, hurt you - that it wouldn't be absolutely devastating and agonizing. If you feel the need to respond defensively to my comments, then you have done something wrong. No, not illegal, but humanly and morally WRONG. That's okay, though - everyone makes mistakes - we wouldn't be human if we didn't. Who you are depends on how you handle those mistakes, however. To be continued...

Post continued... Those who are honorable own up to their mistakes - and try not to repeat them. Those who know no honor will deny their mistakes, use misdirection, and they will continue to make the same mistake over and over, in a futile attempt to make their mistake "right".  To those few who won't be named, if you have just one ounce of HONOR, if you are even remotely HUMAN, then just don't say another word. Let these people mourn in peace and accept the condolences of WELL-WISHERS, not make them endure salt rubbed in their open wounds. To everyone who is saddened/angered/hurt by the inappropriate comments made, I suggest that you do not respond in any way if a future inappropriate remark is made. Ignore them & pretend they're not there, because anything said by a troll is not worth your attention, not even worth your time to read, think about or respond. If no further remarks are made, then please forgive those who made the inappropriate posts, as they are showing honor by owning their mistakes, and not repeating them.  To the family of this beautiful girl - please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. I am so sorry that you have to go through this, and I pray that God will bring you closure and peace, and that your little girl is now being held lovingly in His arms.
