As if straight from the silver screen of Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho," Warren H. Pennick, 54, of Salford Avenue in Lansdale, was arrested and charged with first- and third-degree murder of his own mother, Lorraine Pennick, 79, on Halloween.
Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman and Lansdale Police Department confirmed the arrest after finding Lorraine at the bottom of her basement stairs, in a pool of blood with a seven-inch blade her in torso.
