This is the second set of prostitution-related charges facing Martinez, who pleaded guilty to operating a house of prostitution in 2004 and was sentenced four to 23 months in prison. At the time, Martinez listed Collegeville as his residence.

As previously reported on Patch, Martinez allegedly took the operation on the road; was observed driving women around Montgomery and surrounding counties in the evening, night and early-morning hours to allegedly provide sex for money.

Martinez was arrested in Lansdale in June after he was allegedly seen driving a woman to a home on Wedgewood Drive. A search of Martinez’s home found condoms, U.S. currency, a calendar and planner books with notes of the sex trade operation according to authorities.

According to the Times Herald, the investigation is ongoing, and no conspirators or prostitutes have been charged.

Martinez remains in prison in lieu of $300,000 cash bail; he waived his preliminary hearing and will head to trial.
