Pottstown Teen Crashes Car, Injures Passenger, Police Say

A 19-year-old Pottstown woman will be cited following a crash on Route 73 in Perkiomen Township.

A Pottstown teen will be cited following a crash on Route 73 in Perkiomen Township that left a male passenger with minor injuries.

The crash occurred on Feb. 4, at 12:37 a.m., while traveling westbound on Route 73. Police reports indicate that the woman lost control of her vehicle at a left curve, and struck a concrete bridge rail which forced the vehicle into multiple spins before coming to a stop.

A male passenger from Royersford suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Norm's Save Station, and the report states that a citation will be filed in district court.
