Two Bears Reported in North Coventry

A local police officer said that the bears ran across Temple Road.

A North Coventry township police officer reported seeing two bears that ran across Temple Road going towards Evans Road in North Coventry Wednesday morning, according to The Mercury.

Police indicated that they notified the Pennsylvania Game Commission. According to a conservation officer, bears may seek new territory during this time of year and so it is not uncommon to see them.

North Coventry residents who see a bear should call the police at 610-323-8360 during business hours, and at 610-327-1441 after hours.
