Barth Elementary Kids Receive Gifts From Pottstown Community Health and Dental

Pottstown Community Health and Dental Care employees treated Barth elementary students to free school supplies.

Barth Elementary students were recently treated to complimentary school supplies courtesy of employees from Pottstown Community Health and Dental Care, a local organization that helps vulnerable members of the population receive medical services, according to a Pottstown School District press release.

On or around Sept. 24, Pottstown Community Health and Dental Care employees provided some of the Barth children with packets containing crayons, pencils, and notebooks, along with other supplies. They met the children in the school library.

The supply donation was part of the National Health Center Week Celebration.

“We are very happy to be able to provide these supplies to our youngest citizens and hope that it helps prepare them for the future,” said Pottstown Community Health and Dental Care representative Beth Desch, in the release.

Said Barth Elementary principal Ryan Oxenford in the release, “It is rewarding to see all the happy faces on our students as they accept the supplies which they will be able to use both in the classroom and at home.  Their academic success is dependent upon having all of the ‘tools for school’.”
