He has decided that 13 isn't so lucky after all. After dedicating three full terms to the Pottstown School Board over the course of 13 years, Robert Hartman Jr. said he'll not seek to be reelected in the next election.
According to an article in the Pottstown Mercury, Hartman has said he will not seek a fourth term.
“I’ve heard that other people may be interested, and it’s not fair for them not to know,” Hartman said to the Mercury.
Hartman has been on the board since 2001. He was voted in with the second highest vote count for the five running candidates. He replaced John Oister, according to the Mercury's report.
Hartman also served, according to the board's website, on the Facilities Committee as well as the Finance/Personnel Committee. He was also the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit (MCIU) representative.
