Description of classes
Level 1 ages 8-12
This level is meant for beginners and will teach the basic fundamentals of each style and dance
Level 2 ages 13-15
This level is meant for those children who have minimal experience- they will further their knowledge of style and dance as well as terminology
Level 3 ages 16-18
For those students who are more advanced and have prior knowledge of the terminology specific to the style of dance- a good fit for students looking for more serious training
Cheer Dance
For those students who love the style of jazz and hip hop but are also interested in cheerleading. This is not your typical “cheer” class with learning cheers, but more focused on the formational changes of a cheer squad while using pom-poms and props
Pointe
The most elegant style of dance- in order for a dancer to begin pointe, they must have had previous ballet training and be at least 12 years of age or older. This age restriction is due to the physical demands of dancing “en pointe” and to ensure their bodies are strong enough to properly rise on the toes. An Instructor approval for this class is required.
