Now I know...Progressives and liberals will say "eh...it's Texas, what do you expect?"  But let me remind you Texas, a red state, has one of the lowest unemployments in the country (6.9%).  California, one of the most liberal states is among the highest (10.9%).  So do you think maybe the people of Texas know what it takes to create jobs?

I know..."But Tom, you can't make the connection to those election results to jobs in Texas."  You're right.  But it shows the mindset of the people of Texas.  Fiscal responsibility, Government out of healthcare, limited government, less dependency - a growing consensus of many Americans.  Remember the 2010 mid-terms?

I know..."But Tom, this 'local' Patch?  Why talk about this here?"  Two reasons.  One, I just wanted to.  Second, because maybe the locals in Pottstown gov't will understand and make the connection to fiscal responsibility and what people want.  Because it is NOT just Texas.  Remember the 2010 mid-terms?

Any Progressives have a constructive comment?  I urge you to chime in on the discussion.  My Twitter feed has several thousand followers, many of which are Texans.  I'm sure they'd love to hear your thoughts.
