Polar vortex locked and loaded for the coldest air we have seen since 1988.

Code Blue warnings will be issued Monday for the area, but the cold will spread nationwide.  From the West coast, East coast, Arizona, Southern Texas, and to Florida – all contiguous states are expected to experience temperatures at the freezing level or below.

Temperatures will plummet as the day progresses Monday.  As the arctic air arrives, temps will go downhill further.  Forecast highs for the Pottstown area range from 4-11 with wind chills around -14.
