Richard Lee Stroud, 20, of Philadelphia, allegedly conspired with Jeremiah White of Pottstown and Sarah Nodecker of Montgomery Township to rob a man who met the trio for a test drive of a car Feb. 24.
The Philadelphia man wanted by Hatfield Township Police for his alleged involvement in the Tasering and robbery of a man inside a vehicle on Feb. 24 turned himself into police Wednesday. Richard Lee Stroud, 20, of a third floor apartment on the 600 block of North 43rd Street, faces charges of felony robbery with immediate serious bodily injury, felony robbery with taking property by force, simple assault, reckless endangerment, harassment, felony theft, felony receiving stolen property, felony criminal use of a cell phone, possessing an instrument of crime, and felony use or possession of an electric or electronic incapacitation device, police said. Stroud also faces felony criminal conspiracy charges on all those offenses, police said. …

He was just donning our web pages barely a month ago when his Popeye's receipt and cell phone got him busted for a car theft, according to police reports. This time, he allegedly had company. According to a release from the Hatfield Police, officers responded to a call on Sunday night at 5:51 p.m. in the area of Bethlehem Pike and Trewigtown Road. There they met with a victim of a robbery who had called them when his attempt to sell a used car failed. The victim told police he met three individuals in the area, in an attempt to sell them his car. Jeremiah White's stomach allegedly got him in trouble with the law — and he is now headed to county trial on, among other offenses, a felony receiving stolen property charge. White, 19, of the 400 block of North Charlotte Street, Pottstown, waived charges of felony receiving stolen property, misdemeanor accidents involving damage to another vehicle, failing to stop and render aid and following a vehicle too closely Tuesday at Montgomery Township district court, according to The Reporter. White is free on $10,000 unsecured bail, which District Judge Andrea Duffy granted at his preliminary hearing, according to court records. Jeremiah White, 19, allegedly stole a 1998 Ford Expedition from Norristown on Jan. 5, 2013, crashed it on Jan. 18 in Hatfield Township and then allegedly fled from the scene of the accident, police said. A medical investigator with the Montgomery County Coroner's Office continues to drive a county vehicle despite two DUI arrests in the last 19 months. Official police crash reports obtained by Patch indicate that Rachel Rymann, 33, was charged with DUI and careless driving following a crash in Lansdale on Nov. 10 in which her 2001 Chrysler Sebring damaged three parked vehicles on East Main Street in the borough. Rymann's blood alcohol level (BAC) was tested at 0.32 percent, four times the state's legal limit of 0.08, according to the police report.
