In honor of everything moms do, we're celebrating awesome moms in our Montgomery County Patch sites with a Mother's Day Blogging Photo contest. Cathy Knapper is looking to rally community support for her son, Justin, who is a contestant in the 2013 Bluegrass Nationals BMX Photo Trophy Dash.

Cathy Knapper reached out to the Pottstown Patch hoping to rally support for her son, Justin, whose photo has been entered to win the 2013 Bluegrass Nationals BMX Photo Trophy Dash. In 2011, at only the age of 14, Justin was ranked No. 1 in the Boys 14-year-old Expert Class of the now-defunct National Bicycle League, and has since participated in numerous events throughout the country. Patch has launched a nationwide contest to find the best-dressed home in the country. The winner’s school district will receive $100,000, no strings attached. None. Here are the details: Beginning on Nov. 26 and continuing through Dec. 16, you can nominate your home by uploading a photo to the contest website. During that same time period you and your neighbors will also be able to vote for your favorite festive home. One house per Patch will be chosen—by you!—as the winner in your Patch. Of these best and brightest, our judges will select 24 finalists from Patch communities shining all over the country. We’re launching our annual Deck the House Contest to find the most over-the-top holiday decorations in America—the best “decked” house in the country—the one home so spectacularly decorated that everyone in town jokes your holiday decorations could rival Rockefeller Center’s. If this sounds like your house, upload a photo or video of your home to our contest page from Nov. 26 to Dec. 16. Check back with Patch on Monday Only residents of Patch towns are eligible to enter. We’ll select 24 regional finalists, and from them, pick one grand prize winner. Congratulations to Donna MacNeal, the winner of our Father’s Day Contest and $500. This is what Donna had to say about her father: I have to say I had the best dad in the world. When he was a young man he got laid off from his job and that was it, he decided to have his own company. My father started off with a small truck picking up trash and then he made his own company. (He wasn't the biggest company but certainly the best). He gave his children everything we needed. Love, support, a wonderful home, with help from his wife of course. My dad had passed away 2 years ago now but I have to say daddy thanks for all you have given us and I love and miss you more than you know. Love your very proud daughter. xoxo Happy Father's Day!!
