Police, DA's Office: Driver Not Named In Fatal Crash
Local police and the District Attorney's office are investigating a Lower Pottsgrove Township crash that left a woman dead and many questions unanswered.
Lower Pottsgrove Township police and the Montgomery County District Attorney's office are investigating a one-vehicle crash that killed Ellen Seifert Gold, 33, of Lower Pottsgrove Township. The accident happened in the 1900 block of Yerger Road between N. Kiem Street and Bliem Road. Police at roughly 2:54 p.m. Sunday were dispatched to the scene where they found Gold dead in a Ford Bronco. The vehicle "left the roadway where it crashed into a wooded area," a LPT police new release states. "An initial investigation determined that the vehicle was traveling west on Yerger Road," the release states.
