Wicked Effects To Host Fund-Raisers

The car club raises money for charities that benefit children.

  Wicked Effects Car Club will host the following fund-raisers: • A car cruise in at the Carmike theater in Pottstown from 7 to 10 p.m. June 27. The cruise is free but donations are welcome and will benefit the club's charity work. • The 4th Annual Fight For The Cure Car Show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 22 at Tractor Supply Company in Pottstown. Wicked Effects To Host Northeast Rod & Custom Car Show

Boyertown-based Wicked Effects is the host car club for a show in Oaks this weekend.

  The 2nd Annual 2012 Northeast Rod & Custom Car Show will be held at the Philly Expo Center In Oaks from March 23 through 25 at the following times: • 2 to 11 p.m. Fri.; 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sat. and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sun. The event will include over 300 vehicles, numerous vendors, celebrities, displays and events such as an airbrush face-off.  The show will also feature a range of cars including everyday local vehicles and national, million dollar models, said Andrew Bealer, owner and president of Boyertown-based Wicked Effects Car Club. Wicked Effects, which is in its fifth year, raises money for charities including children with cancer, and supports community groups such as Cub Scouts.
