Man Charged with Vandalism for Defecating in Sink, Trying to Flush Pants

Thomas Wambold, 50, had a messy evening with police on November 20, after he allegedly defecated in the sink of a holding cell, then urinated on the floor and attempted to flush his pants.

A  Pottstown man is facing charges of institutional vandalism and public drunkenness, following a domestic disturbance which later lead to the passing of bodily fluids throughout a holding cell at the Pottstown Police Station. According to court records, police were dispatched to the 300 block of East High Street at 8:29 p.m. on November 20, when they encountered 50-year-old Thomas Wambold, who allegedly appeared to be in an intoxicated state. Police placed Wambold under arrest for public drunkenness, as well as for an existing summary warrant, and transported him to the Pottstown Police Department. Pee Break Leads To Coke Bust

Shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 22, Lower Providence Police Corporal Michael Slattery was on foot outside the Lower Providence Fire Department on Ridge Pike when he noticed a Chevrolet Silverado truck in the building's parking lot, according to a criminal complaint filed by Slattery. According to Slattery, a man standing next to the truck was urinating in the parking lot. The man then entered the back seat of the truck, which, Slattery wrote, backed up and "accelerated at a high rate of speed, spinning the tires as it left the lot." Teen Shoots Self in Foot After Early Morning Robbery

Jacob Loppe, 17, of Pottstown, allegedly robbed a man in West Chester on Saturday morning, but botched the getaway when he took a self-inflicted shotgun blast to the foot.

A Pottstown teen was hospitalized with a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the foot early Saturday morning, following an alleged botched getaway from an otherwise successful robbery along the 100 block of Dean Street in West Chester. According to a report by the Pottstown Mercury,  Jacob Loppe, 17, allegedly robbed a 21-year-old man at gunpoint near the intersection of Dean Street and Church Street around 3 a.m. on Saturday morning. The victim told police that he heard a gunshot shortly after the incident, and police would later find Loppe at the Chester County Hospital, where he was being treated for a gunshot wound to the foot.
