'No Message Is Worth A Life'

School districts including Pottstown, Pottsgrove and Boyertown will host the first Don’t Text And Drive Awareness Day.

  By Phil Ellingsworth Jr. Local students are taking a stand against texting while driving by sharing the caveat that no message is worth a life. Educators in PAC-10 high schools across the region will share this point on May 4 when the schools jointly host the first Don’t Text and Drive Awareness Day. The PAC-10 schools -- which include Pottstown, Pottsgrove, Pope John Paul II and Boyertown -- will share a public service announcement video concerning texting and driving to their students, which will discuss the dangers and consequences of the practice and how it can result in injury and death.
