Pottstown Man Charged with 7 MontCo, Bucks Burglaries

David Yoder, 28, allegedly burglarized homes in Worcester, Montgomery and Lower Gwynedd townships, among others.

After being arrested for burglary of an Upper Gwynedd Township home on June 19, a Pottstown man was charged on Friday with six additional burglaries and one attempted burglary in Montgomery and Bucks counties, according to the Pennsylvania State Police, Skippack Barracks.

Between May 25 and June 14, David Yoder, 28, is accused of burglarizing homes on Green Hill Road in Worcester, Klinerd Road in Upper Hanover, Stump Road in Montgomery Township, Koffel Road in Hatfield Township, W. Welsh Road in Lower Gwynedd Township and Brittany Drive in New Britain Township, Bucks County. Yoder is also accused of an attempted burglary on Taylor Road in Montgomery Township, police said.

Yoder was arrested on June 19 after he and Francis Javier Arroyo, 42, of Philadelphia, were allegedly observed by a state police surveillance detail committing a residential burglary on South Sumneytown Pike in Upper Gwynedd.

The duo was charged with criminal conspiracy, theft by unlawful taking or disposition and receiving stolen property, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

Yoder and Arroyo were committed to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility after failing to post $100,000 bail.
